Larry Norton, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Norna S. Sarofim Chair of Clinical Oncology, is the Senior Vice President in the Office of the Hospital President and Founding Medical Director of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center. In 1993 he co-founded, with Evelyn H. Lauder, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. He is a Past-President of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a Fellow of ASCO, the American Association for Cancer Research Academy, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His research is broad with more than 400 published articles, but he is best known for mathematical insights in cancer therapy and biology. Major honors include ASCO’s Karnofsky and Bonadonna Awards, Columbia University’s Gold Medal, and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s Double Helix Award.

Due to the severe weather predicted for Monday, the CBCF 19th Annual Pink is the New Green Classic has been postponed.
 
The event has been rescheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, at Mountain Ridge Country Club.
 
All event details, including golf, tennis, pickleball, canasta, mahjong, lunch, cocktails, dinner, the research program, and the 50/50 raffle, will carry over to the new date.
