Dr. Larry Norton Now Senior Vice President in the Office of the President, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
The Cure Breast Cancer Foundation congratulates Dr. Larry Norton, our scientific director, to his appointment as a Senior Vice President in the Office of the President of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Ensuring that policy makers and payers recognize Memorial Sloan Kettering’s distinct value proposition has never been more critical than it is today, Dr. Norton will represent MSK at the state, national, and international level to advocate on behalf of MSK with a specific focus on matters related to science, policy, and reimbursement.
Dr. Norton will continue to serve as medical director for the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center, as well as being the associate cancer center director for clinical and translational science. He will continue to see patients and to conduct clinical and laboratory research while stepping away from his role as Deputy Physician in Chief, Breast Cancer Programs.
