Valley National Bank Holds 5th Annual Valley Goes Pink! Walk To Support CBCF
CLIFTON, N.J. – Valley National Bank is going pink again this year for the fifth annual Valley Goes Pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Since 2009 Valley has raised over $400,000 through this overwhelmingly successful event and donated one hundred percent of those funds to the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization which supports Dr. Larry Norton’s groundbreaking research at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and other national and international research facilities.
The walk will be held October 5th, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is open to anyone and everyone who wants to take a stand in the fight against breast cancer. Registration for the non-competitive walk begins at 8 a.m. with 11 a.m. set as the start time for a day of fun filled activities in support of the great cause. The walk will be held at 1460 Valley Road in Wayne, NJ and immediately following there will be a 50/50 raffle drawing, free prize giveaways, and refreshments for all. Register now for just $10 and receive a free Valley Goes Pink! T-shirt while supplies last.
“A key part of our success since 2009 has been the number of corporate sponsors and their employees who have participated and are always eager to get involved with such a worthy cause,” says Andrew Abramson, Andy Abramson, Treasurer and Co-Founder of CBCF. “Locally-based in Wayne, N.J., Valley National Bank has a strong commitment to charitable community endeavors and stands as one of our most dedicated partners. We cannot express how grateful we are for their efforts with the Valley Goes Pink! Walk and we are looking forward making this year’s efforts even more successful.”
