Cure Breast Cancer Foundation

Valley National Bank is a proud supporter and sponsor of CBCF. In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Valley National Bank will host its 10th Annual Valley Goes Pink! Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 13th. The event is open to anyone and everyone who wants to take a stand in the fight against breast cancer! Join in, walk with us, and share in the fun activities planned for the day! 100% of the donations raised go directly to CBCF to support Dr. Larry Norton and colleagues at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and other national and international research facilities.

Since 2008, Valley employees, along with their families and friends, have gathered in October to raise money for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. Over the last 10 years, they’ve raised nearly $1 million to help the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation get closer to achieving its mission of finding a cure for breast cancer.

Activities

9:00 am - Registration and Team Photos will take place at 1445 Valley Road.

Walk

11:00 am - The walk will begin at 1445 Valley Road, proceeds to the end of Urban Club Road and returns to 1445. Door prizes and 50/50 drawings will begin at approximately 12:00 PM.

Parking

1445, 1455 Valley Road and Barbour Pond Road. 

We encourage you to carpool, as parking is limited. Additional parking may be available at Hankook Tire located at 1450 Valley Road.

50/50 Raffle

In addition to funds raised through donations, we are trying to add $25,000 to that total by selling 50/50 raffle tickets.  Tickets are only $10 each!  The drawing will be held during the walk on Valley Road in Wayne, but participants do not need to be present in order to win.  There will be three tickets drawn, with the winner getting 30% of the proceeds, 2nd place getting 15%, and 3rd place getting 5%. Ticket sales are capped at 5,000, so the maximum potential prizes are $15,000, $7,500, and $2,500, respectively.
